ceiling gib

Started the ceiling in the lounge this week and it was a very good learning experience for our group. When we had to pull a sheet down, we learnt the difference between T/E and T/E S/E.

Some images of recent activities with insulation. It's important that insulation is fitted snug so the R value is achieve but not too compact otherwise we effect the K value. We are using R3.2 for ceilings and R2.2 for walls.

Building remedial work (entry 2)

Incorrect Footing for Brick Veneer.


What is the required Width for a Brick Veneer footing to rest on?

What is the required step down for the Brick veneer footing from the FFL?

Building remedial work (entry 1)

This first entry is about the deck that was originally built at a height above FFL and laid with a waterproof decking system as opposed to a slated deck that is drawn on the plans. The roof above needed to be supported so that the deck below could be demolished and rebuilt.
